The Jackson Home is the first major project I was assigned when I started at The Henry Ford, it has been ongoing and. I have led the design on majority of the projects for almost two years now. Below you will find a wide variety of work and the evolution of this project overtime. I started by painting a watercolor of the home and working with a peachy orange color palette.
The Dr. Sullivan and Mrs. Richie Jean Sherrod Jackson Home is a unique time capsule documenting the inspiring story of a courageous family and community at the forefront of one of the most momentous campaigns in the U.S. Civil Rights Movement: the Selma to Montgomery marches of 1965.
