The Jackson Home is the first major project I was assigned when I started at The Henry Ford. The Dr. Sullivan and Mrs. Richie Jean Sherrod Jackson Home is a unique time capsule documenting the inspiring story of a courageous family and community at the forefront of one of the most momentous campaigns in the U.S. Civil Rights Movement: the Selma to Montgomery marches of 1965.
